A lot of people don't understand why buy Uninsured Motorist Coverage when they simply just wanted to buy an auto liability coverage for the cheapest rate available. It comes down easy. The auto liability only covers others (third party). If someone hit my car while I am driving and s/he does not have an auto insurance coverage, and I don't have an Uninsured Motorist Coverage, I am not covered. I will be resposible for all the loss. This situation actuaully happened to me before. I learned it in a difficult way. So, please find out more before you buy the auto insurance.
